WHO WE ARE
Katie has been Principal Solicitor at Mal Ryan & Glen since 2013. Katie practices in all of the firm’s practice areas and has a special interest in planning for the future and estates.
Katie has bachelor’s degrees in Law and Arts from Monash University and commenced her legal career at Corrs Chambers Westgarth. When she first moved to Mansfield she worked at Mal Ryan and Glen under its previous management. In 2009 she took up an associateship to Justice Lex Lasry in the Victorian Supreme Court following which she worked at the Office of Public Prosecutions.
Katie is on the Board of the Mansfield District Hospital and is the Chair of its Community Advisory Committee. She is currently a General Committee member of the Women in the North East network. She has previously served as a board member of MACE Inc (Mansfield Adult Continuing Education) and sat on the Mansfield Shire Council Audit and Risk Advisory Committee.
Katie loves working in regional Victoria and is committed to serving her clients with care and dedication.
Jon and his partner Bernadette, an osteopath, made the move to Mansfield in 2007 when Bernadette was given the opportunity to practice at the Mansfield Medical Clinic. Jon and Bernadette quickly integrated themselves into the local community and enjoying all the region has to offer.
Jon began his Law degree spending nights and weekends studying whilst employed full time at the local hardware store before taking up a full time position at Mal Ryan and Glen as a Paralegal in his final year of study.
Graduating with honours, Jon was admitted to legal practice in 2018 and is forging a strong and successful career helping the people of Mansfield and district with all their legal needs.

Jon is the current president of the Mansfield and District Business Association and sits on the board of the Mansfield branch of the Bendigo Bank.
Megan studied Law and Arts at Deakin University and graduated with honours in Law in 2015. During her studies at Deakin, Megan worked as a paralegal at Melbourne firm Sabelberg Morcos Lawyers. She also regularly volunteered as a legal assistant at Gippsland Community Legal Service and Whittlesea Community Legal Service.
After completing her Post-Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at Leo Cussen Centre for Law, Megan worked as a Statutory Planner at Colac Otway Shire.
Megan commenced her career as a solicitor at Mal Ryan and Glen in 2017 and practices in all areas of law offered within the firm. She endeavours to serve Mal Ryan and Glen’s clients as a hard-working, professional and reliable solicitor who genuinely cares about her client’s needs.
You may see Megan at Parkrun on a Saturday morning at the botanic gardens with her husband Aaron. Megan is also involved both on and off stage with MMUDs and has been sitting on the MACE Inc. (Mansfield Adult Continuing Education) Board since February 2020.
Lily was admitted in June 2022 after graduating from the Australian National University with Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology and with minors in Gender Studies and Indonesian. Lily has worked for a number of firms, assisting on a range of matters in varied areas of the law.
Lily is passionate about access to justice for all, especially regional Australians and has done extensive study into the difficulties and unique challenges associated with law in regional Australia. She is committed to serving Mal Ryan and Glen’s clients competently and diligently to achieve the best outcome for them.
You will find Lily working in both our Alexandra and Mansfield offices.
Lily sits on the Board for Foundation Murrindindi, on the board of the Yea Community Bank, is a member and director of the Youth portfolio of the Yea Rotary Club and is a member of steering committee for the Community University Hub in Murrindindi.
She is thrilled to have moved back to the area, having grown up in Alexandra, and spends her down-time on her farm with her partner Lachlan riding horses, skiing and exploring all that the region has to offer.
Alice was admitted in February 2024 after studying a Bachelor of Law part-time, working part-time and raising two small children.
Raised on the family farm near Wagga Wagga in NSW, Alice joined the Mal Ryan & Glen team in 2021, after moving to Mansfield from Melbourne.
Alice comes to Mal Ryan & Glen with a background in industrial relations, having worked for 10 years as a Research Analyst at the Fair Work Commission (and its predecessor, the Australian Industrial Relations Commission), where she was involved in the Award Modernisation project, various qualitative and quantitative research projects, and later managed the Commission’s plain-language rewrite of existing modern awards.
From 2018 to 2021, Alice was an Industrial Officer for the Victorian Branch of the Rail Tram and Bus Union where she represented the union’s members in a variety of forums such as enterprise bargaining and Fair Work Commission proceedings

Michelle joined our team in 2020 after moving to Mansfield from Gippsland with her husband, Tony. Michelle initially came on board as our Receptionist, and is now our Executive Assistant, assisting Katie Lockey and the wider team of Mal Ryan & Glen.
Michelle has been a career Personal Assistant and Executive Assistant for various corporate entities over the years in both Melbourne and London. She has travelled extensively and has lived in various locations.
Michelle and Tony are very happy to now have settled down here in Mansfield after building a beautiful home on their hobby farm with their menagerie of animals.
You will often see Michelle and Tony out and about in Mansfield enjoying all that Mansfield has to offer.

Bec has recently graduated from the Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Law and hopes to be admitted later this year. Bec is delighted to be joining the Mal Ryan and Glen team on a permanent basis after working casually for the firm in her last year of study.
Outside of work and study, Bec finds joy in practicing pilates and exploring the stunning Victorian High Country of Mansfield with family and friends.
With a passion for law and a dedication to serving others, Bec is excited to embark on her legal career journey. She is eager to make a meaningful impact in the legal profession and looks forward to working with the community.

Bernie joined our team in 2022 working in administration and reception duties. Born and bred in Sydney, Bernie relocated to Mansfield from Melbourne in 2009 with her husband, Adrian.
Wanting a better lifestyle to raise their two children they built their dream home in Tolmie and resided there for 11 years. Now living in the heart of Mansfield, Bernie and her family are often seen walking their two dogs Billy and Roxy around the beautiful Botanic Park.

Bernie has worked in Sydney and Melbourne as a Personal Assistant and Receptionist for over 20 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with her to the team.

Outside of work Bernie enjoys watching and supporting her son play footy for the Mansfield Eagles, sewing and spending time with her family.

Bernadette Caminos
ADMINISTRATION & RECEPTION
Stacey was thrilled to join the Mal Ryan & Glen team on a permanent basis after working casually for the firm when she first moved to the area in 2016. Stacey manages the firm's accounts and assists the solicitors with Probate and Estate files.
A lover of mountain life, Stacey moved into her holiday house in Sawmill Settlement to embrace the quiet life with her two dogs, Snoopy and Chief. She can be found outdoors pursuing most of the activities the area has to offer in both winter and summer.
Stacey left her home town in Tasmania 20 years ago to join the Airforce where she worked as a technician. Eight years later, she was awarded her degree in Molecular Microbiology and Genetics. A “forever student”, Stacey is currently studying Canine Nutrition and recently received her Certificate in Canine Myotherapy.
